The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Cinematic Arts and Creative Practice is a 2-year, full-time programme that nurtures creative leaders in media production. Evolved from the former 3-year MFA in Film, Television and Digital Media, it integrates traditional filmmaking with cutting-edge technologies such as virtual production, VR, and AI. The rigorous curriculum develops artistic vision, social responsibility, and global perspective, preparing graduates for careers as directors, screenwriters, producers, and other creative professionals, and for teaching at the college level in higher education.

The Programme offers hands-on learning experience with advanced equipment and facilities, including virtual production and VR studios, a Motion Capture system, AI workstations, and BOLT and G-Ka Motion Control systems, enabling students to engage in innovative technologies alongside traditional practices. In the first year, students build a strong foundation in film, television, and digital media. The second year focuses on advanced coursework and the thesis project, allowing students to specialise, refine their creative vision, and produce work with industry-standard tools and technologies.
